Dalton Utilities is a municipal utility established in 1889, serving approximately 50,000 customers in the City of Dalton and portions of Whitfield, Murray, Gordon, Catoosa and Floyd counties in Georgia with electric, water, natural gas, wastewater and OptiLink broadband services. Its power supply portfolio includes partial interests in two nuclear and two coal plants plus Southern Power gas, hydro and solar.
