Adams Fork Energy is a proposed multi-billion-dollar clean ammonia / hydrogen production project located along Ben's Creek near Gilbert in Mingo County, West Virginia. If built it would be the world's largest ammonia plant, using methane (natural gas and coal-mine methane) with carbon capture to produce hydrogen and ammonia. It is part of the broader regional hydrogen hub ecosystem.
